ABOUT PETE & JO HALPIN
The Explorer Experience is the trading name of P & J Halpin P/L.
Both Peter and Jo have had a varied and exciting work history. Peter served in the NSW Police Force from 1975 till 1989, much of that time spent in remote area policing in the far west of NSW. During this time Jo was involved in administration with NSW National Parks, Education and NSW Health. Jo has obtained a degree in Social Science.
Peter and Jo established a financial planning practice in 1989 and were both heavily involved with the exciting Olympic Torch Relay and Centenary of Federation projects in 2000/2001.
Peter and Jo are both deeply involved with the local community: Peter is a member of the local Rotary Club and is Deputy Chairman of a local club dealing with disadvantaged youth, Jo is a member of the local Chamber of Commerce, Co-ordinator of the Tourism group and former Co-ordinator of the local signature festival.
Since 2004 Peter and Jo have concentrated full time in establishing The Explorer Experience as the premier means by which both Australian and international guests can experience the true Outback of Australia. Our primary goal is to provide a service to guests who require a unique or lifetime experience, which is both complete and satisfying. The Australian, New Zealand and International 'Experience Seeker' is our preferred travelling companion, with our outback experiences carefully moulded to meet the expectations of this group of discerning traveller.
