Broken Hill to Broken Hill - experience the true Outback of Australia
'The ochre reds and yellows of the ancient Australian outback landscape, enveloped by vast steel blue skies, is something everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime.
Once experienced, it gets into your blood, therefore I have continued the Hart family tradition of interpreting and recording on canvas this harsh but beautiful country.
I recommend you take advantage of Peter and Jo's unsurpassed organisational ability and knowledge of the Outback, and join their Outback Art Experiences, which I fully endorse and support.'

The Australian Outback..............
Thousands of kilometres of harsh and sometimes inhospitable country...............................
With a stark beauty and ancient mystery unrivalled on other continents.
With its deep red sand dunes, ochre sunsets, chiselled gorges, and unique animal life, the Australian outback continues to be one of the most magical experiences available in our modern world.
If you are like so many who have yearned to visit the true Outback of Australia and experience the harshness, beauty and physical extremes, but you enjoy your creature comforts, then the Explorer Experience is for you.
We invite you to join us on this special Explorer Experience event, to record this unsurpassed landscape in the medium of your choice: pencil sketch, charcoal, digital or film image, watercolour.
The opportunity to visit and record the land chosen by the cream of Australia's artists such as Pro and Kym Hart, Roxanne Minchin and Jack Absolum, to name a few, is awaiting your arrival. This unique landscape, fringing the borders of New South Wales and South Australia, will capture you for an unforgettable 14 days with only a minimal amount of time being spent in 'civilisation'.
Our Artist in Residence for this unique experience is Photographer, Painter and Art Teacher Anna Niblic Heggie. Anna comments, 'Whether you would like guidance in drawing, painting or advancing your photographic skills, this unique outback adventure will stimulate your creativity and extend you beyond your potential. I am looking forward enormously to arousing the spirit in those who join us on this wonderful adventure.'
No camping on this experience!
The Outback Art Experience departs from Broken Hill on Saturday 26 April, 2008.
The cost of air travel to Broken Hill and return is at your expense.
